The Jacob Theology – Book 1’ is a collage of creative license that borders on entropy. It is the initial entry in a series of releases that will chronicle the journey of Jacob (Fla-Fla) on the way to himself. The Jacob Theology is a peak into the psyche of a modern day Jacob. Love, war, gratitude, friendship, self-defense, among other things, is all jumbled up in the mind of Jacob and the tracks on this album. But do not confuse the biblical reference with any sort of Christian or Gospel rap. Although this album is deluged in Sparrow the Movement’s beliefs, it is Hip-Hop to the core. The single balances Fla-Fla’s convictions both in Faith and Hip-Hop. The track is the perfect landscape for Christ-inspired lyrics with a Hip-Hop purist’s conviction. But you would never confuse this with Christian rap. Behold, Sparrow The Movement will do a new thing; Christ-inspired, but all Hip-Hop. No need for sub - genres. ~ Sparrow credits Sparrow The Movement ~ AMAZING (Produced by SWC) (Co Produced by DJ Cutt + Wriiten by Fla Fla) (Mixed / Arranged / Engineered by DJ Cutt) (Additional Production & Cuts by DJ Cutt) (Executive Produced by M.I ) Taken from the forthcoming LP 'Jacob's Theology' SIX2SIX Records © more
