Musician/Songwriter by choice, I went through community college on a music scholarship. Vocal. I am a basso profundo by training. I studied composition under Dr. Irina Kirilenko (“classical” composer, pianist and conductor and a graduate of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music in Moscow.) She inspired me to not limit myself to genre and always compose from the heart. "Anyone can write a song, but few can write a song that can make you feel an emotion". So I endeavor to do just that. Some of my music has a strong Christian influence, while other songs have a strong cultural influence with classical, jazz, Chicago blues, delta blues, EDM, Hip hop, Rap and/or Rock & Roll. I collaborate with other musicians both locally and abroad enjoying the diversity of styles among musicians, both young and old. I teach during the summer.
