Symphress, formed in 2015 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, evolved from an acoustic-ambient project to a notable presence in progressive and symphonic rock and metal. Their debut concert in 2016 kicked off a series of performances at prominent venues and festivals across Romania. In 2023, they released their debut album, "Father Time – Part I," a 14-track fusion of classic prog rock and symphonic elements. This success led them to the Rock the Camp Battle of the Bands finals, highlighting their versatility. They followed up with the single "Dewsong" and the EP "Un Cântec Simplu," a tribute to Romanian musician Viorel Simionca. Their second album, "Pseudo," released in early 2024, further showcased their growth. Symphress toured to support the album, sharing stages with bands like Sirenia and Gothic. Their unique style and commitment to originality continue to captivate audiences and push musical boundaries.
