I'm a writer by training with a background as a U.S. Navy journalist. I have been writing songs since around May of 2024. I'm heavily influenced by the synth pioneers of the early 80s, and I want to bring those sounds to a modern audience. I like to write songs that deal with weighty topics, but some of my songs are more reflective of that era in that they are songs about nothing.

The Stars Shine In Your Eyes
A lot of my songs are inspired by what's happening in my world, which right now are things that are painful and sad, so I write lyrics to help push that out of me. I decided with this song to kind of go back in time and write about how I felt when I first met my wife (we're on our way to a divorce now) and the magic of that beginning.more
