THEHERO is a solo artist from Northampton, England formed in 2021.
At the height of the pandemic, Oli Law began producing home demos of new original material which spiralled into a guitar driven rock persona known as THEHERO.
Armed with a home-made electric guitar and a battalion of killer tracks written about introverted emotions and coming of age experiences, THEHERO aims high to bring the next evolution of rock, beginning with the debut release: Black Heart Woman - recorded over 2 days with the electrifying Ben Farestvedt of Damage Audio.
'I like to think my songs are anthems for the introverted. Battles that I’ve fought in my own head and lost in the real world. The music is almost redemption and therapy for things that I’ve felt and never truly come to terms with, wrapped up in a confident identity I wish I always had. In essence THEHERO is who takes over when I need him most'.

Blood Money
Blood Money was written during the turbulent unrest of lockdown. Combining Teenage Angst and Filthy Rock Riffs, it became a thumping anthem aimed at an imbalanced society and the opening of the upcoming GEMINI EP set to be released on June 10th.
Blessed with airplay on previous releases by BBC Radio 1's Alyx Holcombe and Kerrie Cosh, THEHERO will tour the EP across the UK with Blood Money front and centre as its lead single.more

Let Your Lover Go
Liking someone who’s in a relationship is always a losing battle, so this universal issue felt like something I could express through the lyrics.
Let your Lover Go started as an experiment to write about love in an unconventional way. The original demo was recorded on holiday in a dusty log cabin using an iPhone and an old Macbook and some of that original guitar recording is still present in the final version giving it as much grit as we could get away with.
Thematically I wanted to create something really cheeky and overconfident and therefore thought this out-of-character perspective would be fun for a bombastic ode to the overdriven ego.more
