I wrote the song when I was 19. I first recorded it back in 2004 on a solo track self titled, Troy where was playing a Bosendorfer Grand Piano. Years later I had the pleasure of meeting, befriending and recording with two absolutely incredible musicians, Bob Manusell on Guitar and Patrick Knittel on Drums. Back in 2007 when we recorded I Turned Around for i first self titled album, SafeForever, they had never heard to song before accept the one time i played it for them before recording. after doing the final master in 2010 i was sitting at home and, for whatever reason, decided to play both version side by side. Amazingly enough, the SavedForever version played exactly to tempo with my first acoustic version. Anyone who has been recording for a while knows this is virtually impossible. That is , unless it was a project led by a much higher power. ;-) more

The song Moses came from the book of Exodus Chapter 6: Verses 2 through 9 where God made a promise to bring the Israelites out the bondage of Egypt. I believe it depicts the suffering Moses endured while leading the Israelites for Forty years in the desert. And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I Am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Lord, I was not known to them. 4 I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were strangers. And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant. Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the Lord.’ ”more

You might want to lock your doors and turn your lights on after this one. ;-) Invasion was a fun song to make and definitely a step from the norm. Not quite sure what genre this would be called. I call it genre free music. Turn it up and, enjoy!more
