Taartaaria

San Diego

Taartaaria is a metal band known for their heavy riffs and intense soundscapes. Formed by long-time collaborators Behzad Khakbaz and Mo Kazemi, Taartaaria brings a unique blend of talent and passion to the metal scene. Behzad and Mo have been working together for over 16 years, initially honing their craft in their homeland of Iran. Due to the restrictions on metal music in Iran, they made the bold decision to move to the United States, where they could freely express their musical vision. Their journey has been marked by collaborations with numerous metal musicians in Iran and performances in Dubai. This year marks a significant milestone for Taartaaria as they prepare to release their debut album. With roots in Iran and a new home in the US, Behzad and Mo are ready to take their music to the next level. The band's dynamic sound and compelling backstory set the stage for an exciting future, including plans to tour the US and connect with metal fans across the country.
