Tarli, formally known as EL.i.BE, has been creating waves in the Twin Cities hip-hop scene for over a decade. As a homage to his native country Liberia, his middle name “Tarli”, originates from his mother’s tribe meaning: “successful journey”. Tarli’s powerful lyrical journey encompasses the beauty and challenges of being a first- generation refugee in America. Tarli’s 2017 full length album “Liberation'' has landed multiple features on MTV's "Double Shot of Love," "Siesta Keys," ABC's "Nightline," Disney's + "Player Select," and recently VH1's "Martha and Snoop's Dinner Party.” The Liberation tour captured the attention of entertainment blogs, festivals, and venues on a local and nationwide scale, leading to an offered publishing deal in 2018 from “In The Groove Publishing”. Tarli will be debuting his first single in the spring of 2022, “Heaven Sent ft. Wes” under his new artist name.
