The Era is an American R&B/HipHop artist from Brownsville, Brooklyn. The 25 year old taught himself how to write and compose music. His inspirations are Usher, Michael Jackson, Robin Thicke, Kanye West, J.Cole & Drake. He also began performing in school talent shows at the age of 11. On Dec 31st 2014 he released his first song “Honest” which garnered 12k plays on SoundCloud and made the cover of a local blog called DMVLife. A year later he released a second song called “Insecurities” which shot up to 1.1 million views on SoundCloud. His Album “LoveKills” released Dec. 4th 2020 has a total of 160k+ streams.
