Making music for my own enjoyment since 2013, mainly on acoustic guitar, I write my own songs, and use them within the alias The Melancholic Folk Collective. A project that can be as little as one person, or as many as..... well. Trying to network my songs now with a view to others hearing and hopefully enjoying. I'm not a savant or a guitar genius, since I never learned till late in life, I'm still learning. My ethos is spontaneity and doing music as near live as possible in the studio. It's a song about a guy visiting the site of his motorbike crash, which left his one true love, the bike, in ruins. An imaginary story based on a piece of art I did almost 40 years ago, which had the same title, now sadly lost.more

Who wouldn't like to live in a perfect world? A song about an artist who is too introverted to play in front of a loved one. Very strange.more
