Tuwa is where the desert and the sea meet. An Egyptian band formed in 2022 from musicians with different backgrounds and their passion for creating a new sound as a common ground. The idea was born in Sinai where the sounds of the desert, the rhythms of the mountains, and the chill of the sea meet. Tuwa aims to create tunes that you can listen to anywhere, anytime, and remind you of the embrace you feel when you are by a bonfire between the mountains with nothing on the horizon but the reflection of the endless stars on the sea, surrounded by your friends and loved ones, singing along to a heart-warming tune. Tuwa mixes Saharian vocals with groovy moving rhythms to create a welcoming dance floor for its unforgettable melodies that will stick with you, hoping that when you hum them again they can bring you back to where the sea and the desert meet.
