Salât-ı Ümmiyye is a type of prayer (salawat) in Islamic tradition, recited to express love, respect, and devotion to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). - Arabic Pronunciation: Allâhümme salli alâ seyyidinâ Muhammedin-nebiyyi'l-ümmiyyi ve alâ âlihî ve sahbihî ve sellim. - English Meaning: "O Allah! Bestow mercy upon our master Muhammad, the unlettered Prophet, and upon his family and his companions, and grant them peace." - This prayer holds a significant place in Islamic culture, particularly in congregational music and recitations during Mawlid (celebrations of the Prophet's birth). ---- The composer of the Salât-ı Ümmiyye is widely recognized as Buhûrîzâde Mustafa Itrî Efendi, one of the most prominent figures in classical Turkish music. - His composition of this piece in the Segâh maqam is considered a masterpiece of Turkish religious music. It remains a significant part of the cultural and spiritual heritage from the Ottoman era to the present day, celebrated for both its aesthetic beauty and profound spiritual depth. ---- Artist/Project: The work is released under the artist name UFCEBABA, spearheaded by Ufuk Çelik. ---- While the original piece carries deep historical and spiritual roots that I hold in high regard, this version is my contemporary interpretation ; my way of honoring the tradition while bringing my own voice and arrangement to it. - I hope listeners can feel both the reverence for the original and the fresh energy of a modern reimagining. more

Think You Have It All? Sometimes Your Dreams Can Just Wash Away Like… - Written, Performed, Recorded, and Produced By Scott A. Gradert - Castles in The Sand - One Day - One day I just woke up I didn’t know what I would do So I thought I’d write a song And dedicate this one to you - Life’s so hard and it ain’t easy Not knowing what to do The choices that you made Are no mystery to you - And yet You wonder how did I get here And Never meant to be this way Locked in a lifestyle With nothing more to say - Except Have a Happy Day - They say you got it all You must be happy standing tall The house The cars The kid So what’s left that you could need - Money money money honey You can’t spend another dime When you got enough You need some more Amazon won’t make you poor - You buy the best forget the rest And leave everyone behind - And have a Happy Day It’s what you make believe - When you live inside a castle You can’t see outside your land You got everything you need Building castles in the sand - One day high tide comes in Washes everything away The castles in the sand Were never meant to stay - One day high tide comes in Washes everything away The castles in the sand Were never meant to stay - The castles in the sand Were never meant to stay - (C) 2025 Scott A.
