Coming from the projects of cherry hill in south Baltimore he grew up around violence. He is the 3rd out of 4 kids his mother and father have.he got into music at the age of 9 didn't start writing untill he was 11 when he started to take it seriously. He went to prison a few times and now back picking up where he left off. His little brother is doing 41 years for murder. YTG Rachett earned his name from the south Baltimore streets.
