Zacream Stratton was born & raised in the urban Arbor Hill area of Albany, New York. At the tender age of 3, Uncle Za-Cream got inspired to rap after watching a Kriss Kross music video. By 14 he began battle rapping under the name Shorty Duwop while attending Albany High School. However, even though driven to rap as a profession, ZaCREAM would also dab into the street life. Selling marijuana, & even affiliating himself with local neighborhood gang members. By age 25, ZaCREAM would ultimately decide to retire from rapping after several attempts to release music. A year later, he would become a father to El-Unique Stratton. No longer dealing with street activity or behavior, ZaCREAM became a family man. But in September 2018, ZaCREAM gained custody of his daughter after the mom lost her rights due to Child Protective Services accused her of being high on crack cocaine during a visit. In 2019, a single dad working odd-jobs, ZaCREAM decided to come out of retirement after a 5 year hiatus
