Being uprooted as a child from his native Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Ajani was quickly hit with culture shock upon arriving in the United States. Juggling his childhood between Jamaica and New York, his experiences sharpened both his taste buds and ears. “I love music in all forms and genres; music is my heart beat, it keeps me going and gives me a reason to wake up in the morning & live on.” Ajani was into poetry as a child, at the age of 18, he began to write lyrics for fun. Two years later he decided after not being able to cope with the twists and turns of his shady life, that he would formulate a flow fueled by his pain and turmoil.
