I'm probably considered a grandpa in the beat game (46). I was a rapper/beatmaker until I was 26 - then I hung it up when my 2nd daughter was born. After rasiing 5 daughters, I came out of retirement March 2020. My younger cousin (an aspiring rapper) moved in for a couple months - I saw him making beats - so I bought some software and started making beats. He thought they were dope, recorded to a few of em, and I LOVED being again - so I've been going hard in this beat making. It's a grind but I've gotten several sales on BeatStars - so the moral of the story is it is NEVER too late.
