the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the fear of the Holy One is insight. I am from Portland, Or. but finishing my Christian Studies Degree at GCU in AZ. I have been working on music for awhile now and there has been a lot of ups and downs, but God has been good through it all. Music was a way for me to be able to actually grow my relationship closer with God. I was able to actually sit down, ponder, and remember what God has done in my life through all the bad times and the good. It was also a good way for me to communicate my feelings and frustrations to Him. It helped make my relationship with God real and authentic. It helped me talk about Him more n think about Him more. This is a song about asking God to plant my feet and grow me in Him. We as Christian's need to draw closer to Christ so that we are able to bear His fruit and not our own. We need to show His love, patience, kindness, self-control, etc. The way that we do that is draw closer to Him. Read His word, pray to Him, and worship Him.

I wrote this song about all the times I have abused God's grace. I am a person that beats myself up a lot mentally and it was hard to know that I was forgiven, because I see my scars more than I see His healing and grace. It was hard for me to realize that God has forgiven me and He will always forgive me when I come to Him and repent. Don't ever think that you are to far to come to Christ, or think "you need to change before coming to Him." Because He is the one that does the changing in our hearts. Dont allow shame and regret run your life. Allow Him to change your heart and life one day at a time.
