Airplane Mode
When I was younger... well, not that much younger. Let's just say... a little less emotionally mature. 😅 Back then, I genuinely thought I was protecting myself. Whenever someone got too close, whenever a relationship started feeling real, something inside me would quietly pull the emergency brake. I'd suddenly notice flaws that hadn't mattered before. I'd convince myself we weren't compatible. I'd call it intuition... when, in reality, it was fear. Looking back, I don't think I was running away from love. I was running away from the unknown. Because loving someone for real means accepting that you can lose them, that they can change you, that you no longer control everything. Thankfully, that's no longer who I am today. I wanted to write this song because we don't talk about this side of relationships very often. We hear a lot about the fear of being abandoned. Much less about the fear of finally finding something real... and walking away anyway. Airplane Mode is for everyone who's ever mistaken self protection for freedom, and fear for instinct. Sometimes the biggest risk isn't falling in love... it's never giving yourself the chance to. ========================= [VERSE] Summer getaway, California coast Windows down, singing way too close One Airbnb, one carry on Your hoodie somehow became my own AirDropped pictures from the pier Sunset looked better with you here Every green flag checked the list You made forever hard to resist [PRE-CHORUS] Nothing to repair Nothing to decode The calmer my heart became The louder my survival mode [CHORUS] You put me in airplane mode 'Cause my amygdala told me, "Keep control" The safer your love, the less I could breathe My fear wore your name, but it wasn't you I needed to leave No broken trust No reason to go I walked away from everything I'd waited for Still don't know why I let you go [VERSE] Thanksgiving around your place Your dad said, "Hope we'll save your space." Your sister tagged me in the photos Your grandma said, "I've never seen you smile like this." Then my mind began to spin Double texts... "Too much too soon." Talking 'bout next summer... "Maybe we're moving too fast." Green flags slowly turned into masks [PRE-CHORUS] I wasn't reading warning signs I was writing every page Every peaceful little moment Started feeling like a cage [CHORUS] You put me in airplane mode 'Cause my amygdala told me, "Keep control" The safer your love, the less I could breathe My fear wore your name, but it wasn't you I needed to leave No broken trust No reason to go I walked away from everything I'd waited for Still don't know why I let you go [VERSE] Birthday candles, crowded room Your wish was looking back at you Your mom saved every photo Like I'd already been there too Your friends kept saying, "Don't mess this up." I smiled while planning my escape The future knocked upon my door I turned away and closed it more [PRE-CHORUS] The closer love looked like home The louder danger sounded I confused being deeply loved With losing who I was [BRIDGE] There never were red flags I painted every one Called my fear "gut feeling" Called my panic "common sense" Love never threatened me Safety did I spent my whole life searching for The kind of heart that chooses mine Then left the moment It finally did [CHORUS] You put me in airplane mode 'Cause my amygdala told me, "Keep control" The safer your love, the less I could breathe My fear wore your name, but it was never you No final fight No one to blame I spent my whole life looking for love... Then ran away the day I found itmore

Unbreakadream
Romy When I wrote Unbreakadream, I wasn't just thinking about following our dreams. I was thinking about what happens the moment we find the courage to share them. The truth is, we don't always receive the support we hope for. Sometimes people encourage us. Sometimes they stay silent. And sometimes, consciously or unconsciously, they become the reason we start questioning whether we should keep going. Over time, I've learned something that completely changed the way I see creativity and the people behind it: no one has the right to slow down someone else's dream. This song is also a little mea culpa. Sometimes I feel guilty because I don't always take enough time to listen to every song that's shared here, or to leave a comment or a like for every artist. Not because I don't care... quite the opposite. There are simply not enough hours in a day. But I want you to know something. Everything I've listened to has reminded me of one thing: I've never heard a song that made me think, "This shouldn't exist." Quite the opposite. Every song carries a piece of the person who created it. Every voice has something unique to say. Every artist deserves to be heard before they're judged. So if I haven't commented on your music yet, or if I haven't reacted to something you've shared, please don't mistake my silence for indifference. Unbreakadream is my way of saying... Keep creating. Keep writing. Keep singing. Keep building. Because the world doesn't need fewer dreamers. It needs more people willing to protect someone else's dream as much as their own. And if this song helps even one person keep believing in theirs... Then it was worth writing. ====================== [VERSE] I still remember drawing suns Too wide to fit the page Back when every dream I had Refused to live in a cage Nobody laughed at open skies Or measured hope by size Until the voices dressed as love Began to draw my lines They never stole tomorrow They never broke my wings They only moved the horizon And called it growing up [PRE-CHORUS] Maybe you know that feeling Making your colors fade Smiling inside a smaller life So someone else could stay But flowers never ask the ground If they deserve the spring And I was never born to hide The light I came to bring [CHORUS] No one has the right To tell your heart where hope should end No one has the right To make your soul pretend No one has the right To shrink the sky inside your eyes Some people never break your wings They teach you not to fly The sky does not belong To fear, to shame, to pain And every dream you refuse to lose... Becomes Unbreakadream. [VERSE] I tried to pour my ocean Into someone else's glass Apologized for every wave That somehow made it past I called my silence wisdom I called my fear control Until I heard a younger me Still knocking in my soul Some people call it danger When courage starts to rise But maybe what they really fear Is seeing their own sky [PRE-CHORUS] If my voice sounds unfamiliar Maybe now it's finally mine The sunrise never asks the night For permission to shine So if your heart is trembling Let it tremble and still sing The cage was never made of steel It was made of listening [CHORUS] No one has the right To tell your heart where hope should end No one has the right To make your soul pretend No one has the right To shrink the sky inside your eyes Some people never break your wings They teach you not to fly The sky does not belong To fear, to shame, to pain And every dream you refuse to lose... Becomes Unbreakadream. [BRIDGE] Maybe you think I'm singing about me I am But every dream begins alone Until another heart believes Maybe you buried something Because somebody called it wrong Maybe you lost your own voice Trying to make theirs strong But the sky never got smaller They only stopped looking high Don't inherit a horizon That was never yours to try [FINAL CHORUS] No one has the right To tell your heart where hope should end No one has the right To make your soul pretend No one has the right To shrink the sky inside your eyes Some people never break your wings They teach you not to fly The sky does not belong To fear, to shame, to pain And every dream you refuse to lose... Becomes Unbreakadream. If one day someone rises Because you chose to stay Then every scar you carried Helped another find the way [OUTRO] No one has the right Not fear Not doubt Not time The sky was never theirs. Neither Was your light.more

Darkside Of The Dream
For fans of darkwave, industrial, cyberpunk storytelling, and songs that don’t flinch. https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/jaxenpike/darkside-of-the-dream?ref=release A raw, cinematic descent into the subconscious where rotting memories, shattered mirrors, and childhood ghosts finally demand to be faced. Gritty baritone vocals move from whispered confession to full-throated catharsis over glitch-processed 12-string, distorted guitars with tape-echo fuzz, industrial thuds, swelling glitch cello, detuned piano, and corrupted music-box chimes. Dark dystopian cyberpunk meets industrial decay — creeping neural dread that explodes into emotional release. This is what happens when the harvest moon bleeds and the pretty lies you told yourself come unraveled like stitches on a dead man’s tie. What did your dark side show you the last time you looked in the mirror? Drop it below. #DarkIndustrial #Cyberpunk #Glitchwave #IndustrialRock #Darkwave #Emotional #Dystopian - Mastered by mixea.commore
