The picture is of 6 year-old me. This song is based on a poem I wrote many years ago when I was trying to process my feelings about my childhood. I was very quiet and rather stoic up until I was about 26 years old, when a kind family doctor got me to open up and start my healing journey. I haven't released this song anywhere yet.
