dark passenger_ is the solo project from producer Lewis Mander. New to this genre, Lewis has spent the majority of his music career playing guitar, with one album and one ep to date. However, with an ever-present passion for djing lurking in the shadows, over the past three years an almost uncontrollable urge has prompted Lewis to turn his hand at producing electronic music. Whilst there is no question that this is new territory for Lewis, a life-long passion for electronic music has culminated in what we now know as dark passenger_.

there's nothing here
this is one of the first tracks i released, back in jan '22, and has gained the most streams to date - [by quite some margin].
ironically it's not big favorite of mine, which demonstrates that what you like as an artist and what your listeners like, can be two very different things...

the future of music [is not set]
This track is based on the concept that, as musicians we sometimes wonder if it it's really worth pursuing given AI can make music, and arguably almost every conceivable type of music has been created already [?]
However, as Hans Zimmer puts it [and as quoted in this track] "someone, somewhere working in their bedroom, is about to blow our socks off"; we'll never know what creativity lurks behind the corner, and hence 'the future of music [is not set]'.more
