Based on a poem published in 2023. Composed in the style of a Lin-Manuel Miranda musical, it confronts the roots of hate—not as something originating from the outside, but as a reflection of self-rejection. A lyrical exploration of how division often begins within, the song challenges us to reckon with the mirror before we confront the world. I’m dedicating this track to the memory of Charlie Kirk RIP. While I didn’t agree with him on many things, I was a long-time viewer of his content and as a fan was struck with pride when South Park recently featured him as a character. This song honors the complexity of that relationship: disagreement, influence, and the shared humanity we sometimes resist acknowledging. We are the Other dances between sharp wit and raw vulnerability, weaving spoken-word cadence with rhythmic storytelling. It becomes both a mirror and a stage, turning personal struggle into a collective anthem.more
