Greek Brothers is the name that locals in the north London neighbourhood where Alex and Edward grew up gave them, and it stuck. Their musical journey began in their family's Greek restaurant, where after school, they’d work in the kitchen and, by night, perform for the last lingering guests. This eclectic audience had diverse musical tastes, leading to sets that mixed old rock & roll, cult Greek folk, and contemporary British chart hits. Requests for "Hotel California" mingled with songs from Asia Minor and "Mambo No. 5," created a unique and surreal musical experience. After the restaurant closed, Alex and Edward continued their musical endeavours in the UK's pub scene and later formed a Greek folk band that toured across England and Europe. In 2022, they started recording music for the first time, blending pop/rock with Greek folk influences.
