Curtis Jamaal Crenshaw (Better Know as EG DA KYNG) was born 11/09/1993 to parents Angela (Crenshaw) Norwood and Ramsey Jenkins in the tough streets of Fort Pierce Florida. At the age of 5, EG’s parents divorced, which caused him and his 3 siblings to be in between Vero Beach Fl, and Fort Pierce FL. EG was exposed to a better life while in Vero Beach FL however, EG’s heart was in Fort Pierce FL where he would later make some of the biggest mistakes in life. At the age of 9, EG discovered that he can express his feelings through rapping. Although he was still under the streets influence, rapping gave him his own outlet, even if it was just for a moment in time. When EG was in 8th grade, himself and 5 other students were arrested for possession of a firearm, and they all served time in a Juvenile Detention Center. At the age of 17, EG had another run in with the law that almost cost him his freedom. EG began taking music seriously around this time as his longtime friends were losin
