Erick Dayz is definitely the artist to watch for currently! Since 2011, the SW Florida native/Atlanta resident has been known as a pure lyricist who crafts his music in a way that would make the legends, and vintage hip hop heads proud. Dayz is on a mission to gain control of the new wave, and make his presence felt in the Hip Hop world. His admiration for lush melodic beats is evident as you run through his catalog. You'll often times hear him bring up guys like Rick Ross for their ability to find just the right backdrop to have a "conversation" over. Songs like "Geronimo" catches many of Erick's listeners off guard (in a great way) as he ventures off into the land of big trap drums and synths. Bottom line, Erick Dayz is still a fan of art in all of the forms that it comes in. His artistic awareness is what allows him to meet purists and new listeners exactly where they are while still remaining himself.
