The Patchwork started with a blanket my mom gave me when I was little. It was handmade from all these different pieces of fabric. Nothing really matched, but somehow that was exactly why I loved it. It became my favorite blanket, the kind of thing I kept close like a little good luck charm. . Years later, I realized that blanket was saying something I couldn't understand as a kid.
