He began releasing music around 2015, taking notes from lil Wayne’s inconceivable metaphors, Future’s melodic tones, Drake’s intimate transparency and the inventive production styles of rappers who were rising to prominence as he grew up. He started out using the moniker echelon, but changed the spelling of it to Eshelon in 2019. That year, he released his first single, February 9th. From that point forward, he was in hyperdrive.
