TrapFunkMusic

Trapfunk is a hip hop genre created by Rhyval in 2011, and later expanded popularized through the group Reggie & Rhyval. Trap Funk genre was born out of the fusion of funk music and trap music, but is an agglomeration of all popular and black music from the 1970s to present is also unique in its blend of synthesized algorithmic sounds, including the use of the talkbox. The sound is also frequently bass heavy with deep 808s on the bottom and melodic vocals, typical of trap music. The talkbox, prominent when utilized, usually has a sweeping, chorused effect, making it sound as if it were floating above the music.
