From Dayton, OH - JDSHVA (pronounced Joshua) began his musical journey over fifteen years ago. Starting at the age of six, he learned to play the drums and eventually picked up guitar, piano and singing at age thirteen. It was during this time that JDSHVA delved into the world of recording and producing his own original music. - JDSHVA's earliest recordings were done on a shared desktop computer using only a gaming headset mic, but he soon joined the Envato network at the age of fourteen, where he sold his original music for commercial use royalty-free. This led to a successful three-year stint in the field of jingle-writing and writing for film, culminating in one of his original songs being used for a major TV commercial in Australia. This was JDSHVA's first paid job and he quickly became a top seller in the community. - After being accepted into a local art-focused high school, JDSHVA honed his skills in orchestral percussion with a focus in solo marimba, along with composing.
