A few months back, I lost sight of my love for creating music—it felt like my work was disappearing into the void. But a heart-to-heart with a friend helped me reconnect, inspiring a song.
It asks, “What does it take for art to be seen in our society?” The answer, though super exaggerated and over embellished, rings a bit of truth: “Maybe if one died, people would then open their eyes.”
It's just a little commentary on how art (especially from small artists) is often overlooked in our society.
I made this song for myself and others like me who long to be seen for their art when it feels like all eyes are closed.
My latest single, “If I Died Young” is now streaming everywhere. I hope you like it. more
