Snappy True Snapp is a 45 year old rap artist from Hazlehurst, Mississippi. At the tender age of 5 he tragically lost his mother, the pain he suffered from his loss would give him the ammunition to take aim at the industry. Before his 28th birthday Snappy was incarcerated on drug charges and would end up serving 3 ½ years locked up. Although he had been rapping since high school, it was during his time inside, tuning into like-minded people and getting to know their story that would be the catalyst. Once becoming a free man again he was determined to get into the studio to tell his story. To Snappy music is his true calling, the word ‘passion’ is not sufficient enough to describe how he feels about his music, and it is because of this, he will never trade his love of music for any record deal or any amount of money.
