I have been making Techno for the past two and half years, since I bought the Roland TR8s drum machine/rhythm performer. It reignited my interest in making Techno and Electronic music, which had always been a passion of mine, just not in a ‘record it for someone else to hear’ kind of way. After I’d started making videos I joined a group called “Hardware Jams” on Facebook, where they host weekly music-making challenges, based around a theme for the week. We all have from Friday to Sunday to make and share a jam with everyone else, and then we stream through all the tracks, all have a listen and vote for our favourites through the following week. This process of weekly creation, has given birth to a large number of works, from which I then select for release.
