Christmas time has come around once again this year Even before December starts people feel that festive cheer That glow is in the eyes of the people all around Children know Santa will soon be coming to town Whether the year has been happy or if it’s seen sorrow We look forward to Christmas with hope for tomorrow When dinner has been served and we all ate too much, we exchange gifts with our families its that loving touch Lights and decorations start to fill the streets There are hopeful looks on faces you meet. A time for people to come together a reminder this time of year may we all be a little kinder. Whether the year has been happy or if it’s seen sorrow We look forward to Christmas with hope for tomorrow When dinner has been served and we all ate too much, we exchange gifts with our families its that loving touch We miss the ones we love that passed this year We know they would want us to enjoy all the family being near For it may be time to celebrate that much is true but never far from all our minds will be you.
