A London rapper who started at the age of 14, Lil Cyclone describes his style as "the middle ground between trap, crunk and drill". “It started as a hobby for me really,” Cyclone recounted on Instagram Live last year. “My friends found my beats online when I wasn’t really rapping, and they started joking about saying I should rap. At that point I only really used to just freestyle for fun. So I got Rapchat, and that’s where I leaned to write. I grew to love it.” he recalls. “I’d always catch myself freestyling - I still do - . That’s what made me decide it was time to get a mic and start putting my stuff up everywhere. I do cringe at the old stuff sometimes, i think most artists will. But going through my catalog you can see my evolution - I think that’s really important for anyone to understand me as an artist. You learn everyday.”
