This song is about having a routine imposed in you and not being able to escape it. Animals are not adapted to spend eight hours a day in an office building. We accept that routine as we have no choice, but we still daydream. I think thats a coping mechanism, a refusal of the life we are forced to do. And although it's hypocritical to feel that way and keep doing the same thing everyday, I think its a mandatory thing to do, a "mandatory refusal", to alleviate the symptoms of this cognitive dissonance.more
