Hello Slaps, my name is Kevin McLeod aka Professor.K. I'm originally from Sumter, South Carolina, but I currently reside in Charlotte, NC. I've been making music since the age of 16, but I didn't start taking things seriously until about 5 years ago when I started my record label, "Metaphor Genius." My music is different from your typical hip hop artists of today. I create hip hop poetry music with a slight vibe of blues/r&b. I wanted to build a music scene that could not only change the world in a positive way, but also innovate in my own way. My plan is to remain independent as a artist so I can keep full control of not only my music, but also the direction of where I want to go.
