Oleg Bondar was born in Arkhangelsk, Russia, in 1979, grew up in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and moved to Alaska in 2013. Before publishing his poetry in Russia and Ukraine, he took the creative name Oleg Arxangelsky, which later became his artistic signature. Writing poems was a lifelong hobby that gradually grew into something bigger — a bridge between words and music. In 2025, Oleg founded AI Music Fisherman, an Alaska-based record label and creative studio, to turn his own poetry and favorite public-domain works into original songs with the help of AI. His music blends personal reflection, poetic storytelling, and modern sound design, inspired by both his Slavic roots and the calm northern spirit of Alaska.
