Playtyme is a new generation bringing back the smooth grooves of 90s R&B and the high energy vibe of New Jack Swing. Founded by then 18 year old Jaylon Strong, the groups songwriter, creative visionary, and behind the scenes manager, and his then 12 year old younger brother J’ior a.k.a Mykel, the dynamic lead vocalist with a voice that carries both power and soul, Playtyme started out as a rap group called GHP before evolving into the R&B sensation they are today. Jaylon first discovered that his brother Mykel could really sing, and as he continued shaping the groups direction, he realized their 14 year old brother La’Corey shared the same love for old school music and had a natural gift for smooth background vocals. Drawing inspiration from legendary acts like Immature, Another Bad Creation, New Edition, and Hi-Five,
