This song was written just over five years ago, at a time when my literary interests included folk love songs and Greek mythology, and this song in some ways is the uniting of the two influences. It has a nostalgic yet melancholic vibe to it, as you'll hear from both the lyrical storytelling and the musical arrangement. I don’t know if this is a genuinely tragic love song or about a couple’s weakness of wills that leads to an apathetic dissolution of the relationship - or is it neither? or both?… What do you think?
