Luis Junior Tambo also known as Shangana Boss Tambo originally hails from lush green lands of Mozambique in a town called Gaza on the 7th of September 1983. From a household of 10 siblings he is the 5th son. Shangana Boss Tambo started his music career at a very early age, due to the fact that there was poverty, he could not afford to be taken to school like his peers that lead him to turn to music and that is where he discovered his talent and his love for music began, he then Joined a street band as a backing vocalist. At the age of 11 he started a business so that he could afford to pay a local guitarist to accompany him while he sings they went on to perform at local ceremonies that were held. At the age of 18 he then moved to South Africa and lived with his brother it is then that he was introduced to the professional side of the music industry, he's brothers friends introduced him to proper recording studio's and he then started recording his music.
