Tucson

We’re The 444 Band—just a group of people from Tucson, Arizona, following God’s call to share the gospel through music. Our story started back in the 90s in Washington when Daniel “Shaggy” Shaughnessy began writing songs that were given to him by God. Those early tunes laid the foundation for everything we’re doing now. Shaggy teamed up with a good friend, Steve, and they recorded a demo CD. Fast forward to 2025—and here we are, a full band with a mission to complete what God started all those years ago. The lineup includes Shaggy on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Shannon Ammons on drums and keeping us all in line as our manager, Christina Esala on background vocals and , Jim Jagielski holding down the low end on bass, and Chris Cowgill shredding lead guitar. Together, we blend classic rock, blues, and gospel—music with soul, roots, and a message. Our heart is simple: we’re ambassadors for Christ. We don’t just want to perform; we want to minister.
