Satisfied
Another one from the recent EP. Took a slightly more straightforward arrangement approach with this one. Thought I'd include the lyrics this time, since I tend to get pretty dense with them. "Sing to me, sing to me," he said "Love me like we're already dead And I'll sing to you and you'll fall under my spell And grab my hand as we dance into hell.” “Forget the things you thought you knew ‘Cause I’m selling you the news. So why don’t you…” “…Smother me in compliments I'll feed you all my empty platitudes Show me some love and I’ll be your Baal I want to whisper dirty rumors I want to make sure half of them are true ‘Cause I’m gonna be satisfied by nothing at all.” “ Keep my face in the center of the frame I need to feel that you still know my name Then heed my call and there’s none for you to fear Just know that ‘yes’ is the only word I hear.” “My heart is nothing but a void Consuming all your joy Oh boy.” CHORUS “They say the mirror holds the truth But that’s nothing I can use So why don’t you…” CHORUSmore

Oblivion
Another one from that ol’ EP. It’s about series finales. Production-wise I was trying to challenge myself to create an interesting arrangement that doesn’t subdivide beyond 8th notes...which mostly held until the electric guitars kick in. If I was to self critique this, I’d say there’s a lot of story to get thru before the first chorus. https://open.spotify.com/track/2NZB4PTd8AZa3YqcsYFTS1?si=5BEHuMX0QquyhM_xWd5SCwmore

Come On, Nero
Released this as a single two months ago, but for whatever reason I still keep tweaking the mix. I think the version currently up on Spotify might have leaned a bit too much on a Vulfpeck vibe, so I've been trying to subtly pull that back a bit. Also approached the vocals a bit differently than I usually do. Cover design was inspired by Robert Palmer's Clues album from 1980. https://open.spotify.com/album/5WuWcMsxYjD5h06z98FN6y?si=K31EBK62SMuse5MdaT_kNwmore
