Casa Portuguesa
I created the essence of this music one night, while I was in Tabosa da Cunha (A small village in Sernancelhe, Viseu) when I had a lot of nostalgic memories. I took a sample of a guitar and immediately had the idea that I wanted music that could transport some feelings of Portuguese music. I created the beat on top of the guitar and after that, I remembered my childhood times when I tried to beatbox... So I decided to take that memory and dipped it into a hip-hop beat, adding some flavor and textures to give it a more old-fashioned feeling. After the consolidated beat, I added a pan flute and a brass. At the end of the song, I decided to play the part of the melody backward as if we wanted to go back in time as it sounded like a philharmonic This song was really special to me as I deposited a lot of emotions. I shivered, smiled, and also cried thinking about the good memories that my ancestors left. I leave this song published to the world in tribute to our beloved ones. more
