This track is based on the black metal band Mayhem. Raimenleebolan is a Huge Black metal fan. Black metal was a vary controversial music genre in the 90's it has a very dark history. Black metal originated from the song Black Metal by the British band Venom. The Band Venom inspired the guitarist Oysten Aarseth (Euronymous ). Euronymous was raised in a small town in Norway. He started the band when he was 21 years old. The band Mayhem was named after the song Mayhem with Mercy. The band initially consisted of Euronymous(guitar), Manheim (Drums), and Necrobutcher (Bass) and was formed in 1984. Then the trio to a lead singer Named Messiah and recorded their EP Called Death Crush. Messiah and Manheim left the band after the EPs release. 1988 the band was looking for a new lead singer and drummer. They eventually found Jan Axel Bloomberg (Hell Hammer) and Per "Pelle" Yngve Ohlin (Dead). Pelle suffered from walking corpse syndrome and was extremely depressed and suicidal. Pelle Would cut himself onstage and bleed on the crowd. Pelle also wrote and sung the Bands Most Famous song, "Freezing Moon." Pelle was also the first Black Metal Musician to wear black and white face paint (Corpse paint). Pelle stayed with the band until 1991, which is when he committed suicide when he was at the house he and Euronymous shared alone. Pelle cut his neck and wrist and wrote a suicide note that said, excuse all the blood. Then he proceeded to shoot himself in the head with a shotgun. He was 22 years old. Euronymous came home later that day after being out of town, visiting family, and found Pelle dead on his bed. Instead of calling the police, Euronymus purchased a disposable camera and took pictures of Pelle (these pictures ended up on the bootleg album Dawn of the Black Hearts). Euronymous made necklaces out of Pelle's skull and only gave the necklaces to certain people. The rest of the band members found out about Pelle's death and what Euronymus did. The bassist Necrobutcher left due to being disgusted with Euronymous. After this, Euronymus opened a record store named Named Hellvetta and a music production company called Death Like Silence Productions. The store and the production company was for Euronymus to scout new talent for Mayhem. He eventually met Attila Csihar (vocals)and 18-year-old Varg Virkines (Bassist). Varg was also the sole member of the band Burzum. Varg and Euronymus eventually started hating each other after Euronymus refused to pay Varg money for Burzums records sales. Then in August of 1993, Varg stabbed and killed Euronymus after Euronymus threatened to kill him. Euonymus was stabbed 23 times. Varg was sent to prison after admitting to the murder and several church burnings. Varg was sentenced to life in prison along with Blackthorn (another member of Mayhem). Blackthorn was convicted to a shorter sentence due to being an accessory to the Murder of Euonymus. Mayhem released their Debut album and the only album with (Dead, Euronymus, and Varg). Necrobutcher and Hellhammer produced the album. The album's name was De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas, which was released in 1994. Mayhem still tours with Necrobutcher and Hellhammer as the only original members. The song is based on the story of the band.
