The couch is calling – and my feet are cold. Yeah, the world’s on fire, I noticed for a second, while scrolling between beer and all those shows. ㅤ I’m off work, let the world just keep turning. Protest? Tomorrow – ’cause tonight something good is on. ㅤ I’m not a coward – just realistic. My heart says “fight,” my head says “tomorrow,” and my hands say: “remote control.” I’ve got anger in the fridge, next to beer and liverwurst, but it’s long past the expiration date. I meant to use it – honestly, I did – but Netflix just asked if I’m still watching. ㅤ I’m off work, let the world just keep turning. I’m off work, everything else can just burn. ㅤ My neighbor rants about “those up there,” I just nod, ’cause chewing’s hard enough. I’d change something, but the Wi-Fi’s lagging, and revolution doesn’t stream in HD today. Outside it’s crashing, I press mute. I’m not a cynic – just full of all this pain.
