Behold The Light is a piece for Advanced Flute Ensembles that need a little illumination. Guiding them into a world of peaceful serenities, a realm of divine works made of cloud and wind. Beings that are light as feathers that move from place to place. Is this heaven or is this the realm of the God’s. Behold The Light begins with a very simple rhythm gradually growing into a beautiful climactic dive into a pit of peace. Where a simple and flowing line makes the audience feel as if they are floating drifting away. A soul so at peace it glides and gradually disappears into the blissful fold of light. Cluster chords are used to create a dissonance that is bright and dark symbolizing the transition from one world to the next. Enjoy this journey and I hope you enjoy this light of mine. more
