In the United States, 7.3 million women were physically abused last year by their partner. Throughout the world there were 316 million women aged 15 and older physically abused. That is close to the "total" population of the United States, today. I wrote this song to bring the issue to light and bring it out from behind "closed" doors to hopefully break the cycle.
