"Skin Against Skin" — Intimate Indie R&B / Pop Vibes (New Release!) 🥀🎛️ Hey Slaps family! Just officially dropped my single, "Skin Against Skin," and I'm incredibly proud of how this one came together in the studio. It’s a late-night, atmospheric track that blends raw emotional storytelling with a clean, dynamic production wave. The track focuses heavily on building a deep, intimate mood through the verses, working through a smooth vocal melody that builds right into a powerful, soulful belt in the pre-chorus. I wanted the instrumentation to feel lush and spacious, leaving plenty of room for the vocal dynamics and the lyrical passion to drive the story home. My wife recently stepped into the corner as my executive producer, and we used this release to fully lock in the arrangement, mix, and atmospheric vibe. Drop a comment and let me know your thoughts on: The vocal chain processing and overall mix balance. The dynamic build-up going into the chorus. The lyricism and late-night aesthetic. I am actively hanging out on the platform tonight doing feedback-for-feedback, so drop your links below and let’s support each other! Listen to the full track on Spotify here: https://open.spotify.com/album/3GpK927rJ0aQezdWshiTMT?si=FT7S65pTSrO0bg7MeKntKAmore
