A song I wrote in 2016, from a deep place where, I had to know God better, this girl ain't running no more God 😭 It was like God's hand on my life was too heavy for me to go circular like Jonah, had a lot of prophetic words over my life as, to the path I was on, wasn't the right path. I kept going for auditions, for music in college here in Nigeria, I was from a Christian home but I knew I was running away from God, God had to block everything I was working on, was booed out of stage, close to semi finals, looking back now I knew that, if I God had allowed me down that path, I would be long gone from him. So, this song came from that, point of his will not mine, that's where I will find balance. So, I had the hollow, with him perfectly fitting it, that same year, my family went through a financial storm, life was hard, before the storm, life was mundane, regular, the materials things couldn't fill it. Better is a soul cry to every lukewarm Christian or non Christian who is seeking Jesus.more
