"Angel Band" is Ruth Etc.’s latest hit, where Southern blues rock meets country folk gospel. The Mississippi singer songwriter is currently working on her first full length album with Eternal Beyond studios. The story behind the song: Ruth Etc. hosts a weekly open mic where her friend, Mira, had been coming to watch for months. Mira finally got the courage to get up and sing a few original songs. Days before her debut, Mira passed away in a car accident. That night, Ruth went home to write the chorus, wishing she is in heaven playing music with the Angel Band. A full explanation of the lyrics can be found on the Ruth Etc. website and socials. Thanks for listening!more
