Mariana and I always meet at opposite times. When one was available, the other was not, and it was that way for quite some time. But that did not prevent cinematographic scenes in sporadic dawns in São José dos Campos. It was like that until August 2019, when we met one night we nicknamed Vanilla, because of the vanilla candles. I imagined that night would be another episode of our encounters and disagreements, so I wrote a song and sent it to her. The answer, faster than I imagined, was the second stanza of the song. The rest is history. The song is called Vanilla Moonlight, and it is the original recording, from 2019, from when I recorded it in the living room except for Mari's vocal recorded in early 2022.more
